Debora Keller, Executive Director of Bath Housing, has been appointed to serve on a statewide affordable housing working group convened by MaineHousing. The group will evaluate the extent to which extremely low-income households, including families, persons with disabilities and elderly persons, lack access to safe and affordable housing and the burden that this inadequacy creates for individuals and communities. The most recent state budget included a provision to create this working group and Keller has been nominated to represent local housing authorities. The group will report back to the Labor, Commerce, Research and Development Committee and the Appropriations Committee by December 1, 2015.
